Waltons offer a unique locally based service to the landlords of commercial
property and mixed residential/commercial property. We offer all ranges
of property management service, from complete management including supervision
of repairs, rent collection and all contact with the tenant, through to
consultancy management which is the assistance, particularly of larger clients,
in dealing with their property portfolio without charging full management
commission and where the client retains some responsibility for collection
of rental and other charges. In some cases we are prepared to include agency
fees within the total management package for a portfolio of properties,
and our management fees usually include rent reviews, lease renewals and
other occasional events as part of the standing charge which is made.
 Typical
management fees range from 5% to 10%, although it can be lower incertain
circumstances and particularly with larger industrial properties where the
higher rents are disproportionate to the number of tenants. We find that
many clients are not aware of the full benefits of having the property managed
by a professional surveyor, and we are therefore more than happy to offer
a free initial consultation and advice on a property portfolio or single
property, without obligation, if you require.
